Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager – Sales to drive business growth, manage distributor and retailer relationships, and contribute to revenue generation in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in B2B or agri-inputs sales, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and onboard potential retailers/distributors in the assigned territory
Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Drive sales targets and achieve revenue objectives
Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Execute promotional activities, trade programs, and product launches
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports to leadership
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agri-inputs, FMCG, or B2B platforms
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel within the assigned region
Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
