Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Payroll Management and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collecting payroll inputs, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information in the system
- Ensuring 100% accuracy and timelines are met in salary disbursement and other statutory compliance - PF, ESIC, PT, LWF etc
- Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard to Senior Management
- Validating & recordkeeping for challans from vendors for Statutory compliances – PF, ESIC, PT, LWF etc.
- Managing advance payments & maintaining related schedules & recoveries for employees
- Validation of Employee Full & Final settlement & payment and ensuring pay-out within timelines
- Audit coordination for internal, statutory & external vendor compliance
- Developing ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Manage certain time bound processes and ensure validation of data to be accurate and ethical i.e. Investments declaration, Form 16s, Tax Returns
- Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed
Candidate Profile
- Proven working experience as a payroll executive with a solid understanding of payroll software (Keka) and industry best practices
- Knowledge and experience in statutory compliance, compensation structure, and Tax calculations
- Strong analytical and processing skills and high attention-to-detail
- A minimum 3 years of experience in Indian payroll processing
- Good knowledge of the Indian tax regime to support employees when needed
- Well-versed with HR operation processes like joining formalities, issuing letters, handling personal files of employees, statutory requirements, etc
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications (Keka, ESOP portal etc)
