The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for lead generation and building a pipeline of top quality prospects. As a manager, the candidate will also be responsible for overseeing personnel in the company's inside sales team. Moreover, the candidate will act as a strategic partner with an eye towards long term sales strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the inside sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Proactively engage with fruit and vegetable retailers to drive revenue and establish lasting partnerships.
• Develop and implement strategies to secure regular orders, ensuring consistent activation of retailers.
• Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Effectively communicate product offerings, promotions, and value propositions to retailers.
• Utilize CRM tools for effective sales management and reporting
• Monitor and enhance team performance through regular coaching and feedback
• Ensure adherence to shift timings and productivity standards
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless cross-functional coordination

Skills and Competencies:

• Proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure sales environment
• Track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Proficient in basic Excel functions
• Hands-on experience with dialer systems
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, Lead Squared will be an advantage

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years relevant management experience
