Job Brief:

Bijak is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in optimizing our software development and deployment processes. If you are passionate about automation, scalability, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and have a strong background in DevOps practices, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for our applications
• Ensure efficient and reliable CI/CD processes that improve the speed and quality of software delivery
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to define and maintain infrastructure templates
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Monitor resource utilization and implement cost-saving strategies
• Write scripts and automation tools to streamline operational processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to enhance efficiency
• Work closely with development and QA teams to understand application requirements and ensure seamless integration into the CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Implement monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure
• Analyze logs and metrics to identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes
• Ensure container security and efficient resource utilization
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the development and deployment pipeline
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
