We are seeking a meticulous and detailed-oriented individual to join our Quality Control team as a Fruits and Vegetables QC Intern, The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the quality and freshness of our fruits and vegetables through rigorous inspection, testing, and adherence to process and specifications. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of F&V.

Key Responsibilities

Quality control support

• Assist in inspecting Raw material, and in-process products.
• Support the collection and preparation of samples - Internal Quality
• Monitoring of the sorting and grading process

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate inspection records, sensory records, and other related activities.
• Assist in compiling reports.

Process improvement

• Assist in identifying areas for improvement in quality control processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Training and Development

• Conduct training and supervision and monitor the activities of Sorters and graders
• Ensure and make data on the efficiency and productivity of sorters and graders

Candidate Profile

Must Have

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, with the requirement of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Horticulture

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Eager to learn and adapt to new and existing processes.

Familiarity with basic Fruit and vegetable identification and its diseases, disorders, and Post Harvest Management systems. Basic understanding of Fruits and vegetables and their Nature.

Good to Have

Specialization in the Post Harvest Technology program (freshers or final year students preferred).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
