Bijak is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in optimizing our software development and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities:1. Lead the development and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our services.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage scalable deployments in a microservices architecture.
• Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate and manage cloud resources efficiently.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives to ensure efficient use of cloud resources while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Establish and maintain security best practices, including conducting regular penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with the development team to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovations that can improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
• Proven experience in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and managing multi-cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Demonstrated ability in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Good To Have

• Experience with security practices, including penetration testing, and knowledge of security tools and methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with experience leading a team of engineers.
