Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage vendor billing verification, statutory compliance, and employee payroll tax calculations. This role includes validating PF/ESIC deposits, ensuring TDS and statutory accuracy, reviewing employee tax-saving proofs, and supporting monthly payroll compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Compliance & Billing Verification
- Verify vendor bills including attendance, manpower billing sheets, and CTC breakups.
- Check and validate PF & ESIC challans, payment receipts, UTR details, and employee-wise mapping.
- Verify vendor TDS deductions, calculations, and statutory supportings.
- Track statutory filings and ensure timely follow-ups with vendors.
Payroll & Income Tax Compliance
- Calculate employee income tax based on CTC (regime comparison if required).
- Verify employee tax-saving investment proofs (80C, 80D, HRA, LTA, housing loan interest, etc.).
- Prepare tax computation sheets and ensure statutory deductions are correct in payroll.
- Ensure accuracy in monthly payroll statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS).
- Support audit teams with all documentation and compliance reports.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain structured statutory records (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, IT proofs).
- Coordinate with vendors, HR and Finance teams for closure of billing and statutory validations.
- Identify gaps and escalate non-compliance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC, TDS, statutory compliance.
- Practical understanding of income tax calculations based on CTC.
- Experience in verifying employee tax-saving proofs.
- Working knowledge of PF/ESIC portals, challan verification, TRRN checks.
- Proficiency in Excel, documentation, and basic payroll systems.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
Preferred Background:
- Experience in payroll, statutory compliance, HR operations, or manpower vendor management.
- Exposure to income tax documentation and payroll tax processing.
