Loopworm is a creator of a method for raising insects on food waste to feed as a source of protein for fisheries and poultry farms. The company's technology platform includes the extraction of nutrients from food wastes; the waste of these larvae, in turn, acts as a natural fertilizer and creates a fertile soil ecosystem that plants can thrive in, allowing farmers to reduce their costs in raising fisheries. Loopworm was established in 2019 by Ankit Bagaria and Abhi Gawri in Bangalore, Karnataka.
