Quality Executive - Job Description
Job Summary:
The Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all dairy products meet defined quality, food safety, and regulatory standards at Sid’s Farm. The role involves monitoring quality parameters across raw milk reception, processing, packaging, and dispatch, while ensuring compliance with SOPs, GMP, and food safety systems. The Quality Executive supports continuous improvement initiatives to maintain consistent product quality and consumer trust.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitor and ensure quality compliance at all stages of production including milk reception, processing, packaging, and storage.
Conduct quality checks on raw milk, in-process samples, and finished products as per defined specifications.
Perform routine chemical, physical, and sensory tests and record results accurately.
Ensure adherence to food safety standards such as FSSAI, GMP, GHP, and internal quality protocols.
Identify deviations from quality standards and report non-conformances to senior executives.
Maintain quality-related documentation including test reports, logs, checklists, and batch records.
Verify hygiene practices of personnel, equipment, and plant areas.
Participate in internal audits, inspections, and external regulatory audits.
Ensure proper implementation of Clean-In-Place (CIP) and sanitation procedures.
Conduct training sessions for operators/Labours on quality, hygiene, and food safety practices.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, or a related field.
Minimum 0-1 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the dairy or food processing industry.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs consistently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Kannada-speaking candidates are preferred
