Position: Senior Executive – Vendor Management & Supply Planning

Location: Hyderabad

Department: Supply Chain / Operations

Reporting To: General Manager - Inventory &Supply Control

The Senior Executive – Vendor Management & Supply Planning is responsible for coordinating with multiple plants and external vendors to ensure smooth production, dispatch, and replenishment of stock. The role requires daily follow-ups, timely schedule planning, and accurate stock tracking to avoid delays or shortages. The position works closely with internal teams such as Quality, Logistics, Warehousing, Sales, and Demand Planning to ensure business continuity and availability in the market.

● Coordinate daily with plants and vendor partners for production updates, dispatch status, and capacity availability.

● Share and track production schedules based on demand and sales requirements.

● Raise and follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely execution.

● Monitor stock levels, buffer norms, and replenishment triggers across plants and warehouses.

● Track lead times and pending deliveries and escalate delays when needed.

● Maintain MIS reports, production trackers, stock summaries, and vendor performance reports.

● Coordinate with Quality, Logistics, Sales, Warehousing and Demand Planning teams to prevent availability issues.

● Ensure all dispatches have proper documentation, labeling, batch approvals, and shipment accuracy.

● Communicate availability risks early and support corrective planning to avoid stock outs.

● Strong coordination and follow-up skills with vendors, plants, and internal teams.

● Ability to manage multiple supply and production priorities simultaneously.

● Good working knowledge of Excel, MIS reporting, stock tracking, and ERP basics.

● Attention to detail and high accuracy in data, schedules, and documentation.

● Ownership mindset to ensure timely production, dispatch, and replenishment.

● Proactive thinking to identify risks early and support timely resolutions.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced supply environment with tight timelines and operational urgency.
