We are looking for a Plant Accountant to join our Finance team at our Tumkur Plant. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling petty cash, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting plant-level finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for the plant.
  • Record and post sales, purchase, expense, and other accounting entries in Tally.
  • Maintain and reconcile departmental petty cash and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
  • Coordinate with various departments for finance and accounting-related requirements.
  • Raise and follow up on Zoho tickets for finance-related requests and issues.
  • Prepare and maintain MB (Material/Management Book) reports and other plant-level financial reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documents for all financial transactions.
  • Assist the Finance team with reconciliations, reporting, and other accounting activities as required.
  • Ensure timely completion of routine accounting and documentation activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance operations.
  • Good working knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Telugu, Kannada, and English.
  • Candidates with experience in a plant, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar operational environment will be preferred.
