Assistant Manager – Admin & Ops
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator – Company Operations professional to manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure and day-to-day operational support. This role combines technical expertise with operational efficiency, cost optimization, and vendor coordination to ensure smooth business functioning.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
IT & Asset Management
Manage and maintain company IT assets, including laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, printers, and peripherals.
Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, licenses, warranties, and renewals.
Handle onboarding and offboarding IT requirements for employees (device allocation, access setup, recovery, etc.).
Ensure data security, backups, antivirus, and compliance with company IT policies.
Coordinate with external vendors for IT procurement, repairs, printer maintenance, and AMC support.
Network, Infrastructure & Printing
Manage company internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and basic server administration.
Ensure smooth functioning of printers, scanners, and printing infrastructure, including troubleshooting, toner management, and service coordination.
Troubleshoot network, hardware, system, and printer-related issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Operations & Travel Management
Handle booking of flight tickets, hotels, and local travel arrangements for employees for official travel.
Coordinate with travel vendors and negotiate the best rates and terms.
Ensure adherence to company travel and expense policies.
Office Supplies & Inventory Management
Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution of office supplies and stationery.
Track consumption, maintain stock levels, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Coordinate with vendors for timely replenishment and negotiate pricing.
Cost Optimization & Strategic Support
Make strategic recommendations to optimize IT and operational costs.
Identify opportunities for reducing expenses through vendor negotiation, asset reuse, and process improvements.
Prepare cost comparisons, usage reports, and optimization proposals for management review.
Office & Facilities Support
Coordinate and support housekeeping staff and ensure office hygiene and upkeep.
Assist with basic office operations, vendor coordination, and facility-related requirements.
Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of office infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
6–8 years of experience in IT administration and company operations.
Strong knowledge of networking, servers, printers, and IT asset management.
Experience in vendor management, procurement, and cost optimization.
Experience handling office supplies, stationery, and inventory control.
Good understanding of office operations and employee support functions.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
