Brief Profile SnapshotTo design & Support IT- solutions for DGV. Working as part of a design & Support team, the Senior Technical Engineer will design, develop, support and deliver robust and cost-effective solutions for both Business and IT led initiatives including solution development and cost estimations, Configuration and Deployment & Business Case Development & Approval.To support, contribute and ensure solution compliance to the enterprise architecture, production processes, QMS and other DGV standards. To support, contribute and ensure development of the roadmap of the concerned technology roadmap aligning with IT strategy.Roles and responsibilities:1. Develop IT Solutions that meet customer requirements. Ensure that the design is robust, appropriate and of high quality and conforming to corporate standards and in line with the technical strategy.2. Ensure that the developed solution meets the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance and reliability.3. Provide guidance to Project managers / Technology Team Managers for solution definition, technical design and development of in house developed solutions. These are to be delivered as per agreed costs and timescales to meet signed off functional, technical and process requirements.4. Ensure that assigned problems are defined and analysed in line with the Problem Management Process. Ensure that solutions to problems meet the architectural and security standards within the technology area and impact to the business is minimised.5. Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed Service Levels and where applicable, workarounds are provided to minimise business impact and Own & manage changes within the Technology Area to ensure least impact on the business.6. Publish and maintain high quality documentation for technology area. Working within the standard templates and documentation guidelines which includes detailed design, configuration details, support procedures, operations manuals, and deployment architecture.7. Ensure that workarounds that are provided to service disruptions minimise business impact. Own & manage the changes to the application/technology to ensure least impact on the business.8. Design and Build Software programs and Architecture to support the translation of functional requirements into data models and technical architecture which will meet business needs.9. Ensure the process and Enhancement specifications are translated into effective programs with error free code using the enterprise development tools, methods and languages.Qualification:- In a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 2+ year’s work experience using the following:- Experience of developing and maintaining advanced technology solutions for large, complex organisations/customers in a multi-functional environment.- Experience in providing production support for business solutions- Implementation of contemporary engineering practices like lean software development, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous deployment- Establishing and managing technology platforms- Team player with a problem-solving attitude using variety of softwareKnowledge/skills:- Prior FinTech experience is desirableKey Technologies:- Backend Technologies: Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Java Core, JPA/Hibernate- Frontend Technologies: React.js with Next.js. TypeScript, Node.JS, Tailwind CSS- Database (Anyone): NoSQL, Postgres SQL (preferred)- Version Control: GIT- Cloud Technologies: Azure (preferred), AWS- Development Methodologies: Agile development- Good to have: Docker, Kubernetes, JenkinsLocation:Vashi, Navi Mumbai
